Back in 1995, when Scott had a growing waiting list, he and his now late wife Harlene co-wrote and produced a 2 hour instructional video which became the subject of a newspaper article that appeared in the Baltimore Sunday Sun.
The video was sold to over 100 public libraries in the U.S. as well as to families who wanted to receive some of his instruction while awaiting an opening in his busy teaching schedule.
Now in 2023 - his music school has had many business phases since 1993, including over 20 years of having his wife join him in teaching and heading up a whole team of dozens of instructors who were providing weekly lessons to upwards of 200 and 300 students for the majority of those years (1997-2017).
In more recent years Scott has largely gone remote with his lessons, maintains his own full private teaching schedule of 60+ students and heads up a more limited team of 10 part-time
