A YouTube channel for piano/keyboard students and their families was first launched in 2015.

The content created featuring Scott discussing various topics or playing through songs and collections that could interest and motivate students were filmed by his late wife Harlene back when their music school Playtime Arts Academy was employing dozens of instructors who were traveling to the homes of nearly 200 students.

Following her sudden unexpected passing in 2017, Scott added a bit more content to this channel 

in 2018 and 2019 with the help of friends who were assisting him in his home office when he was still considering keeping the Academy going as a whole music school with a large staff of instructors.

In the spring of 2023, about 3 1/2 years after deciding to gradually allow the employment arm of his music school to unwind while focusing on building up his own private teaching schedule - Scott has returned to expanding the content of this channel.

After the major life change of losing his wife and business partner as well as adapting to the pandemic by offering remote lessons which he continues to actively promote - with 3 remaining long term staff members and happily remarried for nearly a year and a schedule of over 50 mostly remote piano students - Scott is inspired to make his channel an even more valuable resource to students and their families.

Various topics that are relevant to families with one or more piano students will be the focus of a number of new videos.

...and perhaps most valuable of all to the families he works with will be a number of fairly lengthy videos in which, along with helpful reminders to students, he will be playing through a number of the first and second level lesson books of the series he uses with various age students in their entirety.

This, he is confident, will be of great assistance to families to find the appropriate video and to hear him naming and playing through each song in order - and therefore - to be able to find and listen to the exact pieces that have been assigned to practice from week to week as the students proceed through their books.
