Tony Gensler, who is a huge music fan and loves to see live music concerts and shows
has taken on a very valuable role in our music school by giving a personable touch
to meeting our students and families' material needs for lesson books and other supplementary music by bringing these material directly to them...
With original owner and co-founder Scott booked with just shy of 60 students this eliminates the need for sharing links through text and / or Scott or his students' parents getting too busy or distracted with a lot of responsibilities and then (understandably) not following through with either sending the link or with the purchase being made.
Instead, now with Scott's wife Kathy on board as well as Tony, we will proactively
as of late February of 2024, be regularly keeping stocked up on materials through
a combination of local music stores and / or Amazon.
Tony will be given the names and addresses of currently enrolled students and their families clients as well as phone numbers and will be making arrangements with clients via text for a mutually convenient time or place to meet or for him to leave such materials.
For other clients who live a significant distance from our home office, or even out of state, we will be utilizing "snail mail" as well as Amazon direct orders that will be shipped directly to these families.
Tony, who is a long time resident of Reisterstown is a fairly well known face around
town not only for his attendance at music events but because he spent a number of years
as a food delivery man for Vito's.
He grew up in Georgia through part of high school and has lived in the area every since.
He and Scott became good friends, having met being out locally in Reisterstown to see live bands or singing karaoke
back in 2013.
Since that time, they have been supportive of each other through some life challenges and by happenstance knew Scott's wife Kathy and her late husband as well as Scott's late wife prior to either of their respective transitions when they were Called Home.
Now, Tony, who strongly believes in Scott & Kathy's shared vision and mission in their music school, is now finding more meaningful work through his new role which will begin in late February of 2024 on a limited part-time basis, while simultaneously adding customer service value and greater efficiency and ease for Scott & Kathy
as well as for our valued clients by taking responsibility for this vital task of delivering needed materials to students and their families.
Tony is a very warm, friendly, personable and down-to Earth guy.
A very gentle soul who loves kids, music and furry companions.
He has a soft spot for Boxer dogs, and both his and our mutual friend's Richard Berger's
dogs, both of whom have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge were featured in Scott's
children's books which are self-published on Amazon.
The first of those two books was also featured on a WJZ-TV news story which
aired on 11/24/20.
Watch for his call or text at the number: 443-415-9307 when he is looking to make arrangements for a special delivery.
Initially, however, he will be reaching out to all of our families by text just to introduce himself.
* Please note that since he is currently working a day job that requires his full attention, that it is best to text him, knowing that he can respond to you later in the day after he has clocked out there for the day...
In addition to the music books, Tony will also be delivering framed certificates for students who have completed various lesson books.
He will also be delivering framed certificates for recital participation as well as nicely laminated Performance Recital Programs for our remote recitals on the day before the scheduled performance for the student(s) in your home.
Because he currently works a day job, his limited availability for the deliveries which he will faithfully commit to completing in a timely manner to meet your family's needs, will be carried out on Saturdays as well as some select and limited weekday evenings by mutual agreement between him and our valued clients.
You will recognize Tony's car as pictured.
Obviously, besides believing strongly in the mission of our music school,
and as mentioned, a big music fan, he is also a car enthusiast
and has loved Muscle Cars since he was a teenager ( or younger).
You will recognize him when he comes to make his special delivery to your family
by the picture I have shared on this page as well as the picture of his vehicle
which he nicknamed shortly after purchase a few years ago:
Black Diamond.
